Most people think of lawn care as mowing, edging, and clean-up. We do that too, but in addition to general lawn care, we also provide other great services.
Fertilization: A well fed lawn is a strong healthy lawn, and just like all living organisms, lawns need to be fed regularly. Nutrients become depleted or may be washed away over time. Fertilization replenishes nutrients, enriches lawn growth, and enhances its green hue. Our staff knows when and how much to fertilize to avoid burnt lawns.
Weed Control: Our first line of defense against weeds is to make sure you have a lush, green lawn that chokes out the weeds, but sometimes additional steps are necessary. We use a pre-emergent herbicide in the fall and spring to prevent weeds before they sprout and a post emergent herbicide to take down already growing weeds. But sometimes you just have to put on the gloves and start pulling. If that’s the case, we will do that too.
Insect Control: Evasive insects can damage your yard and turn relaxing evening gatherings into bug swatting contests where the bugs eventually win. They can kill trees and plants, and if you enjoy bringing cut flowers from your garden into the house, you may be discouraged from doing that if you find aphids or other pests covering your flowers. While we can’t eliminate all bugs, we can control their population by solving standing water issues and applying pesticides.
Aeration: We aerate your lawn to loosen up compacted soil and allow air at the roots giving your yard better drainage.
Trees and shrubs: Common diseases and insects can damage trees and shrubs making your yard look unkempt. Additionally, over-growth and old, dead branches choke out livelier new growth and can cause considerable property damage. Regular fertilization and pruning encourages controlled growth for healthier trees and shrubs. Trimming will also shape trees so that they look healthy, have stronger blooms, and provide desired shade.
